I swear on all that is good and holy this woman is the Queen of cliffhangers.... But as much as it pains me to say it-I loved every minute of it!!These books just keep getting better and better!
Sophia and her little "dysfunctional family" had a hard time in this book, and we got to welcome back someone from book 1 that I absolutely wanted to see in their lives!
I absolutely CANNOT WAIT to read book 5, and see what Sarah's got going on in her little escape from everything/everyone!
I highly suggest everyone read this series!

I sat down and read books 1-4 in 24 hours or less and I could not put them down.
As you continue Sophia's story with her family you learn more about the dynamics of all the characters. You get a good feel for the ups and downs of love and friendship in a way that is believable. This story has a lot of twists and turns and makes it very easy to read. The first 4 books should all be read together as they are a continuous story and flow together in a way that makes you need to read all 4 together. As with all of the first 4 books there are distracting grammatical errors but you can still read it without becoming lost. I highly recommend this series and I loved every minute.

Sophia's story continues as the characters and the plot continue to draw you in with the very interesting fourth book in the Half-Blood Princess series.
The romance in the story becomes more intriguing as the characters struggle with their overwhelming problems and situations in their lives. Their personal and emotional struggles play key parts in the story and the author has blended it into the plot seamlessly.
As their enemies amass against them the plot thickens with the ups and downs of everyday life that you can easily relate to. The story evolves with all of the characters becoming essential. While the plot remains very well orchestrated and easy to follow as it unfolds.
By addressing the thoughts of each of the characters, the author has given a unique conclusion to this chapter of the series. And as I have become enthralled with the characters, I am looking forward to more of the Half-Blooded Princess books.
In the fourth book of Author Magen McMinimy's Half-Blood Princess series Sophia Daletsky finds herself and her makeshift family preparing for trouble. Zillah, the new badie in town, is raising an army to take down Sophia and to kidnap her twins Andre and Ashlyn to start a new race of witch/vampire subordinates. Retreating to her father's castle, Sophia and her lover Sage begin training alongside all their friends in order to fight back when Zillah makes her move.
Filled with intense passion and brilliantly written, Magen McMinimy does it again with this installment in her amazing series. New mythos are revealed and new enemies arise in order to make Sophia's already difficult life more difficult. just as you think Sophia is about to break she pulls through and kicks some ass!
I sincerely enjoyed this book and everything it entailed. Author Magen McMinimy doesn't stop in her ability to keep you locked into her world and doesn't let you go until she deems worthy. I highly recommend you read this book!
Yet again another 5 star rating, and honestly if I could give a higher overall rating for all 4 books together it would be higher. She brought to a nice close, but yet left it open and leads into book 5-8. I didn't feel jilted or confused like some cliff hangers leave a reader.
After Zillah attacked trying to take Sophia and the twins she and all her family, friends, and guardians go to a secret place to hide out and prepare for war. Sophia struggled through the beginning of this book, and my opinion is that she blamed herself for all the problems. Personally she was much too hard on herself. But I could feel her emotions The anger, fear, and complete withdrawal from those she loved. It was definitely easy to relate to her in this book the most compared to the others. You meet a different side of Sophia, and though I wouldn't say she was weak by any means, she is more lost but still kicks ass in the end.
Enoch, though doesn't play a huge role yet again (grr... Magen really needs to write his story, *hint-hint*) but he is as wise as ever. He is there in the beginning encouraging Sophia to pull out of her slump and make amends with Sage. Everyone is the house has noticed the rift between them. And it's sad, because they are an amazing couple but after Sophia basically died, Sage was understandably angry with her for basically not thinking what her death would do to him and the twins.
The book is mostly spent with everyone involved training to go to war, bringing in more vampires and witches. It's a process to show how much Sophia has grown, and the "first family" begins to put their foot down so to speak.
The book was yet again pretty fast paced, which is good for these kinds of books, but keep me going yet again. Magen has yet to fail to impress me. Her writing is an inspiration, and I can wait to get through this series and move on to her other work. I bet I'll love them all. I highly recommend this book, and Magen actually have books 1-4 in one book. The book can be found here

Another great installment of The Half Blood Princess series.
Sophia and Sage are raising their twins on her fathers island while it is cloaked in magic to keep her family and warriors safe.
It is time to come out of secrecy and confront the evil ancient vampire Zillah and her army of vampires and lycans.
As usual, Magen McMinimy gives us an amazing read! Now off to the next installment!
